Os engajados “Arcade Fire” ainda não revelaram datas ou teasers do aguardado sucessor de “Reflektor” (2013), mas soltaram som novo em parceria com a musa de Prince e do New Power Generation Mavis Staples.
O single foi lançado na véspera da inauguração de Donald Trump na presidência dos EUA, mas a mensagem é bem clara, já que a canção diz “eu lhe dou o poder” e “posso tomar de volta…”. Todos os lucros obtidos com o single irão para a organização de defesa dos direitos e liberdades, a American Civil Liberties Union.
O grupo tem datas confirmadas em festivais como o Primavera Sound 2017 (Espanha) e no tradicional Isle of Wight (Inglaterra), e estão oficialmente trabalhado em seu novo álbum, que segundo recentes declarações nas mídias sociais de Will Butler (voz, guitarras e pianos) deve chegar ao planeta nos próximos meses.
