Strokes de volta no clipe de Threat of Joy

Com o EP “Future Present Past” os Strokes voltam ao cenário e mostram bom humor e inspiração no clipe de “Threat of Joy”, dirigido por Warren Fu que recentemente trabalhou em vídeos de artistas como Daft Punk, Snoop Dogg, Pharrell Williams, Depeche Mode e Weezer entre outros.

Em clima descontraído a banda se mostra por inteiro, com argumento non sense, onde a gravação do clipe é requisitada por agentes secretos que sequestram o diretor do filme, e numa vibe de teoria da conspiração enquanto a banda toca calmamente aparecem executivos capitalistas com caras de porco, entre figurantes e extras interagindo com os caras na busca do “filme perdido”.

Chance de vê-los por inteiro, após mais de 03 anos sem aparições como grupo, com canção leve, solar e que mostra bem a passagem do tempo e a orientação dos Strokes para um maior controle sobre a própria obra, já que o EP acabou sendo o primeiro lançamento da banda pela gravadora Cult Records de Julian Casablancas.

Future Present Past foi lançado em 03/Jun/16 com produção de Gus Oberg, e apresenta as canções “Drag Queen”, “OBLIVIUS” e “Threat of Joy”, além de um remix para “OBLIVIUS” feita pelo baterista Fabrizio Moretti.
