No início de Jul/15 os Libertines lançaram o single “Gunga Din”, primeiro som dos ingleses em 11 anos, e que faz parte do álbum “Anthems For Doomed Youth”, aguardado para Setembro/15.
No vídeo podemos conferir a banda num hipotético dia no Red Light District em Bangcoc, com cenas nas ruas da cidade, entre hotéis e inferninhos decadentes, tudo embalado pelo ótimo single, que numa levada Rock/Ska, surpreende e mostra que apesar dos anos de hibernação, os Libertines continuam amados e relevantes, pelo menos para os adeptos do rock inglês.

A banda formada em 1997 em Londres por Carl Barat (voz, guitarra) e Pete Doherty (voz, guitarra), implodiu no auge do sucesso, em meio a brigas, escândalos com os tablóides britânicos, aditivos e excessos diversos, e inclui nessa re-encarnação os também “Libertines” John Hassall (baixo) e Gary Powell (bateria).
