Bjork mostra ao mundo o clipe de Lionsong

Bjork é atualmente uma das artistas mais contestatórias e inovadoras, e seu novo trabalho Vulnicura é o mais recente exemplo de como usar toda fama e criatividade de forma militante, reafirmando a importância do feminismo nesse século 21, onde muitas das conquistas consolidadas em gerações anteriores, vem sendo questionadas e até perdidas frente às novas ondas conservadoras do milênio.

Uma das faixas mais legais do álbum é sem dúvida “Lionsong”, que ganha agora bem sacado vídeo, juntando a inquietude de Bjork com a dupla holandesa Inez & Vinoodh, parceiros da islandesa em projetos anteriores.

No clipe tem um clima de sonho/pesadelo, saindo para o mundo direto de um útero atemporal, mostra o corpo de Bjork envolto em camadas tentaculares, num estilo surreal acompanhado pela linda melodia e com a diva se expressando em peculiar dança.

No site Noisey da Revista Vice, a dupla de diretores fala : “O personagem de Björk para ‘ Lionsong ‘ teve que ser suave como uma espera de aranha em sua teia, e sedutora como uma dançarina de Bali em bronze. Ela é vista como se estivesse sob um microscópio , desnudando seu coração enquanto nos atrai para dentro da galáxia sangrenta de sua própria ferida.”
