Do espólio do Oasis, foi Noel Gallagher que saiu ganhando, apesar de toda marra de seu irmão Liam (que já implodiu sua banda “nova”o Beady Eye), o guitarrista e compositor britânico, confirmou todas expectativas sobre sua carreira solo, mostrando grandes e inspiradas composições já em seu primeiro álbum, aumentando ainda mais o cacife para o lançamento de Chasing Yesterday, segundo trabalho com a banda High Flying Birds.
Noel Gallagher além de reprisar a parceria com sua banda solo, vai contar com a ilustre presença de Johnny Marr, eterno ex-guitarrista do Smiths e que vem desde 2013 se destacando como solista, como colaborador na faixa “Ballad Of The Mighty I”, que encerra o trabalho e será o segundo single do disco.
